Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern all bookings and services provided by BECURATED STUDIIOS LLP, operating as Curanza ("Curanza", "we", "us", "our"). By submitting a booking you ("you", the traveller) confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. Read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Payment Terms.
1. Who we are, and your contract
1.1 Curanza designs and arranges solo journeys. We engage carefully selected local operators to deliver parts of your journey (accommodation, experiences, transport and similar). Your contract for the journey is with Curanza. We are the organiser of your journey and remain responsible to you for it as described in your written confirmation, subject to the limits in Section 6.
1.2 A binding contract is formed only when all of the following happen: (a) you submit a booking with the required deposit; (b) Curanza issues written confirmation by email; and (c) your payment clears.
1.3 The person who makes the booking confirms they are authorised to do so for everyone named in it and accepts these Terms on their behalf.
1.4 Curanza may accept or decline any booking at its discretion.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Bookings are open to adults aged 18 and over. Curanza Solo is an adults-only product.
3. Payments and deposits
3.1 A deposit of 45% of the total package price is payable at the time of booking. We commit this amount to suppliers on your behalf shortly after confirmation.
3.2 The remaining 55% balance is due no later than 30 days before your journey start date.
3.3 Accepted payment methods and currency handling are set out in our Payment Terms. Payment-gateway and transaction charges are non-refundable once incurred.
3.4 If the balance is not received by its due date, we will send a written reminder allowing at least 3 business days to pay. If it remains unpaid after that, the booking may be cancelled and the charges in our Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.
4. Cancellations, changes and refunds
4.1 Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4.2 Changes to a confirmed booking are subject to availability and must be requested in writing. An administration fee may apply, together with any additional supplier charges, and will not exceed the actual additional cost we reasonably incur.
4.3 Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.
5. Your responsibilities
5.1 You must give accurate personal information and hold valid travel documents. Passports should remain valid for at least six months beyond your journey end date, and securing any required visas is your responsibility.
5.2 Travel insurance is mandatory for international journeys and strongly recommended for domestic ones. We recommend cover for medical expenses, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, and for any activities included in your journey.
5.3 You must disclose any medical condition, disability or dietary requirement that may affect your participation, at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements but cannot guarantee every journey suits every condition. A fitness or medical certificate may be required for certain journeys.
5.4 You must comply with local laws and the reasonable instructions of Curanza and its operators. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, abuse or conduct that endangers or distresses others.
6. Liability
6.1 We arrange your journey and engage suppliers to deliver elements of it. We take reasonable care in selecting and coordinating those suppliers.
6.2 Subject to 6.3, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the total amount you paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
6.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
6.4 You are responsible for your personal belongings. Appropriate insurance is recommended.
7. Force majeure
7.1 We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, war, governmental action or travel restrictions.
7.2 Where such an event affects a journey, we will, as far as reasonably possible, offer alternatives, a reschedule, a credit, or a refund of amounts we can reasonably recover from suppliers.
8. Pricing and currency
8.1 The current price for each journey is shown at the point of booking. Some journeys are priced in a local or foreign currency depending on the destination.
8.2 Where a journey is priced in a foreign currency, or settled in a currency different from the journey's underlying currency, the amount payable for each instalment may be calculated using the exchange rate applicable on the date that payment is processed. Unpaid future instalments may therefore vary until paid.
8.3 Once a payment has been processed, it will not be re-adjusted for later exchange-rate movement. After confirmation, your price will not change except for ordinary currency conversion on unpaid instalments, or unavoidable supplier-driven cost increases, and we will not pass on any such increase below a reasonable threshold.
9. Optional activities
9.1 Add-ons not included in your base package are subject to separate terms and are typically paid directly to the local provider. Their availability and price are confirmed before departure.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 All website content, branding, itineraries and experience designs are the property of Curanza and may not be reproduced without permission.
10.2 We will use any content that identifies you for marketing only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
11. Data protection
11.1 We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and our Privacy Policy. Data is used to deliver your journey and meet legal obligations, and is shared with suppliers only on a need-to-know basis.
11.2 You may exercise your data rights (including access, correction, erasure and withdrawal of consent) and raise any grievance at hitusup@curanza.in. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
12. Grievances
12.1 Any complaint may be sent in writing to hitusup@curanza.in. We will acknowledge it promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days of receipt.
12.2 Unresolved data grievances may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India. Consumer grievances may be raised with the appropriate consumer disputes redressal authority or the National Consumer Helpline.
13. Governing law and disputes
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to 13.2, the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
13.2 Nothing in 13.1 affects any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach a District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction.
13.3 We may update these Terms from time to time, with notice by email and on the website. Changes apply only to bookings made after they take effect and are not applied retrospectively to a confirmed booking, except where required by law.
